About the Photographer

Gloria Wu

Gloria was born, raised, and educated in Hong Kong. She gained more than a decade of experience photographing corporate and public events, weddings and landscapes while she worked in a management role for an NGO supporting democracy and labor right. Since moving to the United States in 2020, she has been dedicated to her photography career, based out of Northern Minnesota. She expanded her work to include professional, personal and school portraits. Her style blends cinematic flair with timeless aesthetics, using both dramatic studio lighting and natural light to capture genuine emotion and personal stories.

Gloria established her brand, Glory in the Lens, to describe the moments of significance, character and unique beauty she captures through her camera lens.

When not working behind the camera, Gloria takes her creativity to the kitchen as a cook and her energy to the pavement running marathons. During her downtime she practices yoga, takes inspiration from her 3 beloved cats, travels and builds Legos with her supportive husband.
